What happened? Description:

Was added to trade a Case Hardened MW Butterfly Knife. The first thing I did was look on steamrep and the comments, both were completely clean. Also the fact the account is over 13 years old and is the owner of a cash out group that has over 2,000 members, and is level 366.

I have never trusted someone who does it this way (and with this, definitely won't at all) but with all these factors and how they have all that reputation to lose for a quick buck I can get back easily from a paycheck. I decided to go ahead with it.

As soon as it was traded they asked if I got the transaction, I said no and after that they blocked me.​

because the one time I did do a money trade like this i was 13 and was dumb and got scammed

Sorry man, nothing personal against you I've just been burned way too many times by people who had no rep.

That's why I always ask to see some rep when I cash trade.

Evidence of the block

They added me saying they wanted to buy my knife for $300 through paypal. I accepted the deal since their account seemed trustworthy (nothing came up on steamrep, although now since I made this report I've noticed two other reports that are the same) and went ahead with the trade. Once the trade went through they asked if the money came through as well. I said no and once that happened they completely unfriended me and blocked me.

Also I only cropped the paypal picture just to cover info and only to show the last transaction
