    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198011101107

    Victim profile: 76561198073180806

    What happened? Description:
Hello. My name is Snowie. I am Head Administrator of a Team Fortress 2 server called Terminal Velocity. You can find information about the server here: https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/43.245.160.13:27015/

I have permission by the victim to report this scam to steam rep: http://prntscr.com/5hra0t

I can also have the support of Volume, the owner of the Terminal Velocity server to support my claims here.

Chan is a member of Terminal Velocity that recently donated to the server, and was *up until this point* a VIP member. A few days Chan decided to receive some donations to the sever, and claimed that he would give them to someone of a higher authority at a later date. Leaving the donor waiting for VIP. After this happening 2 time, both on separate occasions, we clarified to him that what he is doing is not right, as only people who can make the member VIP should accept the donations. This is a trust thing that a donor should have with the person accepting the donation.

After acknowledging our orders, Chan *when all authority figures are away* decides to advertise VIP, claiming it be the price of 1 key. This is indeed the price needed to be given VIP, but advertising it gives the false idea that he can be the one to accept donations. Stating clearly that 12 ref can also be a price for VIP, he ignores our previous orders and accepts 12 ref from Jenny *the victim*.

Later that day when I join, I have jenny asking when she gets VIP in the chat. upon further investigation, I ask her to supply a screenshot, and this is the result: http://imgur.com/Bt5S0w8

You can see here that Jenny receives nothing in return, as any item you receive should be displayed above the items you lose, while viewing your trade history. I had a conversation with chan after receiving this evidence, and he comes up with the story that he never traded Jenny, and that the ref in his inventory is his. Sadly I have no screenshot of this conversation, as this was not the time I was collecting evidence and shortly after, he removed me from a friend and I closed the window. After supplying him with the evidence, he changed his story and said that Jenny traded someone else by the name TaskForce, who is also a VIP member on Terminal Velocity. I can not ask him of this as he is currently offline during this moment in time.

I looked on backpack.tf and found that the ref he had located on the first page of his inventory was in fact traded to him by Jenny.

that is a screenshot of one of the refined metals that were in his inventory.

To sum this up, I can revise: He impersonated someone of authority into tricking people that he can accept donations, took the items, and claimed them as his own even after proof was handed to him. This man scammed Jenny and should be marked as one.
