What happened? Description:

This entire scam is infinitely more complex than this report system will allow, but I will try to elaborate here. This whole thing starts with me being added by an accomplice account that makes an offer on two of my unusual hats. They ask me to trade them to my friend for some kind of confirmation of cleanliness. I see no harm, so I go through with it. Then they add my friend and add both of us to a group chat. From this point, they start using their storage account to fool us. They change the name and thumbnail of the storage account to appear as my own, and fool my friend into trading with them. She even confirmed the email without noticing the flaws in the dummy account. They attempt to do the same to me to steal more of my items, but at this point I've caught on. Will report accomplice account after this (if I can find their profile. I deleted them far too quick...). For clarification, I am reporting the storage account as the fraud and my friend as the victim as it was between them that the trade took place. I will try to report the accomplice too and me as the victim to the accomplice. The evidence isn't the best, but it is all I have left of the encounter.​
