What happened? Description:

The account of a friend of mine from 2 years ago sent a message to me through steam chat stating that they accidentally reported me for having duped items, and that I needed to comply by adding "the admin" and telling him that "my friend" (compromised account that I've already reported on steam) accidentally reported me. Otherwise my account would be banned. I never ended up adding the account because it was too suspicious, and when I stated my suspicion I was removed from my "friend's" friend list and the account went offline/invisible. I'm not sure what they're attempting to accomplish. Maybe trying to steal account information? Or maybe stealing items? I don't know.​

I'm someone with a trade hold, and I haven't done much/any trading in over 2 years. I feel like I'm pretty unlikely to be the intended target of the report.
So as far as I know it was really accidental, but is there anything else I need to do?

This really sounds like a scam of some sort. "add this guy to your friends list or else your account will be shut down" or something of that nature.

And I don't see this person on the list of community admins.
